If you’ve ever liked the idea of cruising but didn’t want to do it solo, this is exactly the kind of trip that changes that.
This 7-night South Pacific cruise from Brisbane is built around shared experiences — the kind where you arrive not knowing anyone and leave feeling like you’ve travelled with a group. From the first day onboard, you’ll be part of something, not just another passenger.
One of the standout moments is the stop at Royal Caribbean’s brand new private island, Lelepa. This isn’t a typical port stop — it’s a purpose-built beach experience designed for connection as much as relaxation. Beach clubs, clear water, open spaces to hang out, and a natural social atmosphere that makes it easy to spend the day with others instead of wandering off on your own.
Back on Voyager of the Seas, the same energy carries through. Drinks turn into conversations, dinners turn into plans, and by the end of the cruise, you’re not just ticking off destinations — you’re sharing the whole experience with people you actually connected with.
This is ideal if you want the freedom of travelling solo, but none of the isolation that usually comes with it.
Cruising should feel exciting, relaxing and enjoyable — not awkward or lonely. For many adults, the idea of cruising alone can be daunting. You might love travel but not love walking into a dining room by yourself, or you may simply prefer knowing there are familiar faces onboard.
Never Cruise Alone, hosted by Cruise Now, was created for exactly that reason.
It’s a hosted adult cruise experience designed for people who want connection, conversation and community — without pressure, expectations or forced activities.
Start Your Day Social – Wander by our daily meeting spot (usually the pool bar) to see who’s around, and what’s happening.
Do Your Own Thing… or Not – Spend your day your way — relax, explore, or join one of the many on board activities.
Drinks, Laughs & A Little Fun – Each night we kick things off with group drinks, where we really get to know each other
Group Dining Every Night – We dine together each evening, making it easy to socialise, meet new people from the group, build connections, and start plotting where the night might lead.
See Where the Night Takes You – Stay with the group, see that show, relax at a quiet bar, or have an early night… you never quite know what the night has in store.
Cruise Your Way – Join in everything, just a little, or simply enjoy the atmosphere — no pressure, no expectations, just good vibes.
Your Onboard Wingwoman – Corina will be there throughout the cruise, ready with tips, introductions, and a little guidance to help you make the most of every moment.

These are the cabins the cruise line allocates, after everyone who has picked their own cabin has had their choice. By definition, they are the cabins that nobody else wanted. Think the very back of the ship, above the nightclub, or with life rafts blocking your view.
However, these cabins still get you on board the cruise, and are good for saving money.
The conventional wisdom is that midship on a low deck is best to avoid sea sickness. These ships are so stable these days that this isn’t quite as important. However, when you are at the front of the ship and use the elevators at the back of the ship it’s a long walk. I always try and get a cabin between the elevators.
Low decks are a short trip to the bars and restaurants, and high decks are close to the pool and buffet. Low may be better for sea sickness. Generally, the more expensive cabins are higher up, showing what the cruise line thinks.
Always look at the deck above and below your cabin for sources of noise like the pool, buffet and nightclub.
The most affordable cabin option, Interior staterooms are located inside the ship and do not have windows. They provide a comfortable and cosy space with all the essential amenities, making them perfect for guests who plan to spend most of their time enjoying the ship and destinations rather than staying in their room.
"Virtual balcony" means a giant TV screen with views of the outside, which gives the feel of having a window.
Ocean View cabins feature a window or porthole that lets in natural light and offers views of the sea. They provide a bright and relaxing atmosphere while still offering great value for money compared to balcony rooms.
Balcony staterooms include a private outdoor balcony where guests can enjoy fresh sea air and scenic ocean views. These cabins are larger than most interior or ocean view rooms and are popular with travellers who want their own private space to relax.
Suites are the most spacious and luxurious accommodations onboard. They offer significantly more living space and often include premium perks such as priority boarding, concierge services, exclusive lounges, and upgraded amenities for a more indulgent cruise experience.
For 7 day cruises, remember this is your holiday, so its nice to have a balcony to watch the world sail past. A midship location means you never have a long walk home. We aim for the highest floor that is not directly below the pool and buffet.
On the other hand, on a short 3 day cruise we might just get the cheapest cabin and plan on not spending any time in our cabin.
Every great cruise has a heartbeat — and on this one, it’s Corina (with Bob keeping things quietly on track behind the scenes).
With over 50 cruises under their belt, they know exactly how to bring the right mix of fun, connection, and relaxation.
Corina is the spark that brings it all together — warm, welcoming, and just the right amount of fun. She has a natural way of introducing people, lifting the energy, and making everyone feel instantly part of the experience.
Bob is the calm, easygoing counterpart — always up for a chat, happy to lend a hand, and making sure everything flows smoothly in the background.
Together, they create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where it’s easy to connect, feel comfortable, and let the cruise unfold exactly how you want it to.
